People in Malta are being encouraged to roll up their sleeves and donate blood, with extended opening hours being offered at the G’Mangia Blood Donation Centre next month.The centre will remain open until 8pm on Friday, 4th September, giving people additional time to donate after work or other daytime commitments.The extended session forms part of efforts to encourage more people to donate blood and help maintain supplies for patients who depend on transfusions.Blood donations can play a crucial role in everything from emergency treatment and surgery to the ongoing care of patients with serious medical conditions.Anyone who is eligible and able to donate is encouraged to consider making the trip to G’Mangia and helping support Malta’s blood supply.Have you ever donated blood?•
