The Brazil international is also hoping Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi can help him reach those levels as the pair begin working together.With the 22-year-old now in N17, De Zerbi has laid down what he expects from his latest summer signing. Speaking to football.london, he said: “In terms of one-to-one, he is one of the best players, can play on either side.“If you analyse the best wingers in the world they score 10-15 goals a season and he has the qualities. Maybe it is a habit and he had to get the habit. We need to increase the chances to score. The best teams score lots of goals.”Savio’s creativity clear, but goal scoring remains the challengeSavio is certainly a wide player capable of creating plenty of chances. In his first full season at the Etihad, the 22-year-old winger managed 11 assists.In fact, throughout his career, Savio has assisted more times than he has scored, with 31 assists and 21 goals in 181 appearances, including youth games. However, his biggest problem remains his goal scoring. A return of two goals in more than fifty games is far from world-class standards.Even former boss Pep Guardiola was aware of this flaw in Savio’s game, although he believed that if the Brazilian improved in that area, he would become one of the best in the world.
