Revanth Reddy directed officials to ensure sewage does not enter Mir Alam Tank in Hyderabad. It should be widened so that floodwaters from the lake can flow into Musi river. Mr. Reddy, who also holds Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) portfolio, inspected the suspension bridge works at the lake on Thursday (August 27, 2026).
