EC Markets Marketing Director Nick Xydas Steps Down

Nick Xydas has stepped down as Group Marketing Director at EC Markets after about two and a half years at the forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker. Neither his next position nor a successor has been disclosed.Xydas announced the decision on LinkedIn, describing his tenure as an “incredible chapter.” He said EC Markets had almost no global marketing function or presence when he joined, while the company now has an established team, office and international brand.“I could not be prouder of every single member of my team and what we achieved together,” Xydas wrote. He joined from Cyprus-based technology company Matworks, where he had served as Chief Marketing Officer for about a year.His earlier career included almost three years at FXGT, initially as Marketing Technology Manager and later as Head of Business Development for its Japanese operation.
