SOFI Long | Still HoldingSoFi Technologies IncBATS:SOFICashFalconAction Items - Cancel the middle limit buy order that was placed as a potential re-entry - Continue holding SOFI and monitor for a breakout above 19.56 Context & Disclaimer - Quick note before I get into it — I don't sell courses or signals. My trading income comes entirely from trading itself. What I'm sharing here is my personal trade journal. Friends and family kept asking how I do this, so I figured putting it out there might be useful to others trying to learn. This is not investment advice. Trading carries real risk, so please do your own due diligence and never risk more than you can afford to lose. Happy to have you follow along — hope it helps. SOFI Trade Background - I've been holding a long position in SOFI for over three months now, which is unusually long compared to how I normally trade - My original conviction came from firsthand familiarity with SoFi stadiums, parking lots, and the business model in general - The position was entered around the time of a major soccer event - The biggest cost of this trade has been time, not capital — and that's a lesson I'm flagging for myself about choosing faster-moving instruments in the future Entry, Stop Loss & Targets - Two buy entries placed on this trade - Stop loss: 14.64, positioned behind solid daily support - Primary entry level: 18.42, aligning with a higher-timeframe support that price has since broken above - Near-term resistance levels: 19.11 (recently reclaimed) and 19.56 (key level to break for momentum) - Upside targets: ~22.92, with potential extension toward 25 or 27 Technical Read - A rally-base-rally demand zone is visible on the daily chart — I view this as a positive sign of institutional buying interest - Price made a bullish move, pulled back to a key level, and is now attempting to reclaim the prior high, consistent with a higher-low structure - Large institutional players are likely strong supporters of price at the current demand zone - Price has repeatedly respected the 18.42 support zone without breaking below, which signals accumulation to me - A breakout above the current consolidation area is expected to trigger faster upside momentum, potentially aided by a news catalyst Trade Management - No plans to add capital to the position — available funds are reserved for other active trades - The middle limit buy order has been canceled as it was deemed unlikely to come into play - Holding on the daily timeframe and waiting for the setup to resolve Re-Entry Guidance - For anyone considering an entry, I'd personally look for a pullback into the 18.42 support zone without breaking it, then look to buy at or near that level - Alternatively, wait for price to pull back, form a confirmed higher low, push above the most recent swing high, and enter on the breakout confirmation - I would not recommend chasing price after a sharp move higher Broader Trading Context - My primary markets are forex, futures, XAUUSD, USOIL, and commodities — stocks are not my usual focus - Going forward I'm considering shifting any stock speculation toward faster-moving names like AAPL, TSLA, and NVDA - SOFI was chosen on the thesis that entertainment and consumer demand remain resilient despite broader economic headwinds
