A fishing vessel ran aground at Point Reyes National Seashore early Friday. Approximately one thousand gallons of diesel fuel were aboard the vessel. Federal, state, and local agencies are coordinating a response to the incident. The beach remains temporarily closed to the public for safety reasons. Officials are working to remove fuel and stabilize the vessel.
