Bharath Gupta has invited entrepreneurs to invest in the State.Mr. Bharath on Monday addressed the ‘Andhra Pradesh: Where Investments Meet Opportunities’ event, jointly organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) at a hotel in Bengaluru. The event comes ahead of the 31st CII Partnership Summit scheduled for November 12 and 13 in Visakhapatnam.The Minister said the State government is working towards the goal of ‘Swarnandhra 2047’ under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. “We are moving forward to transform Andhra Pradesh into a $2.4 trillion economy by 2047. We assure that the government will act as a partner to investors, providing necessary infrastructure and ensuring speedy approvals. The system is being revamped to eliminate the need for investors to make repeated rounds of government offices,” he said.Mr. Bharath said the government’s responsibility does not end with the signing of agreements, but remains supportive throughout the project lifecycle from inception to production, expansion, and exports.Highlighting that the 1,053-kilometre coastline is a crucial economic asset for the State, the Minister maintained that A.P. has numerous advantages including seaports, industrial corridors, highways, railways, energy resources, land availability, and a skilled workforce. “The State is promoting investments in sectors such as electric vehicles, electronics, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, food processing, renewable energy, green hydrogen, green ammonia, and sustainable energy,” he said.The Minister urged entrepreneurs from Bengaluru to consider setting up their future industries, manufacturing units, and export hubs in Andhra Pradesh.
