BTC: Can the 80,000 Breakout Support an 82,700 Target?Bitcoin / TetherUS PERPETUAL CONTRACTBINANCE:BTCUSDT.Pkiv1nThe BTC breakout above 80,000 looked straightforward to me: entry 80,300, TP 82,700, SL 79,200. Once I checked the structure, I found a hidden weakness and rebuilt the entry, target, and stop. Entry 80,300 is 744.5 above 79,555.5 resistance, with no retrieved swing, volume profile, VWAP, EMA, OB or FVG anchor. I moved it to 77,590.6, the exact previous 1h high in the fresh, unmitigated 15m bullish OB at 77,539.5-77,719.9, 229.2 above rising 1h EMA 50 at 77,361.4. Original TP 82,700 lacks retrieved resistance, swing, volume profile boundary or structural continuation target. I set 79,450, 105.5 ahead of shared 4h/1h resistance-zone level and the 15m trend-extreme high at 79,555.5, a non-zero buffer without assuming an unsupported breakout. SL 79,200 is above 1h support 78,831.8 and fresh 15m bullish FVG 78,590.1-78,842.6, risking exit before support invalidation. I moved it to 77,000, 539.5 below bullish OB minimum price 77,539.5 and 361.4 below rising 1h EMA 50 77,361.4; 590.6 also exceeds rising 15m ATR 499.3. The risk-to-reward improved from 1:2.18 in the original setup to 1:3.15 in the optimized setup.
