Samsung released two One UI 9 beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series in quick succession, and the second brings one of the most interesting Galaxy AI features the company introduced with its new foldables.My FanCam is now available on the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra on the latest One UI 9 beta. With this feature, you can take an existing video recording, select a subject you want to track, and get a new video that puts that subject front and center while cutting out the rest.As you would expect, My FanCam is designed to work with videos that have people in them; it cannot detect animals or pets. It's similar to the Auto framing feature in Samsung's Camera app, with the main difference being that Auto framing works in real time.To use My FanCam, open any video in the Gallery app, tap the Galaxy AI icon, and select My FanCam. The feature will automatically try to find people in the video, but if it can't detect anyone, you can use the seek bar to skip to a part where people are easier to identify.The newly announced Galaxy S26 FE, which will ship with One UI 9 starting September 4, supports My FanCam out of the box, and we imagine Samsung wanted to bring the feature to the existing Galaxy S26 models before the FE went on sale.Unfortunately, the One UI 9 beta is available in just a handful of markets. There's no ETA on when the official One UI 9 update will start rolling out worldwide, so most Galaxy S26-series users may have to wait for My FanCam until after the Galaxy S26 FE hits retail shelves.
