GBPUSD - shortGBP/USDOANDA:GBPUSDcalvinjonas01Price previously pushed into the 1.3670–1.3680 area, creating a higher high. From there, we got a rejection and price failed to make a new high. The important part came when price broke below the previous swing-low/support around 1.3615–1.3620. That gives us a structural sequence: HH → LH → BOS → bearish retracement After the bearish break, price dropped toward 1.3560, then started retracing upward. This is where I would be interested in looking for continuation rather than chasing the initial move. 🔴 Bearish scenario The zone around 1.3600–1.3620 is the important area for me. If price retraces into that zone and gets rejected, the idea is: Liquidity/retest → rejection → continuation lower My downside objectives are: 1.3560 — first structural support 1.3528 — major target / demand area 1.3518–1.3520 — lower edge of the marked zone . 🟢 What would invalidate the bearish idea? I wouldn't want to blindly short just because price is below the EMA. The real invalidation is structure. If GBPUSD breaks back above the 1.3620–1.3640 region and starts producing higher highs/higher lows on the 2H, the bearish thesis becomes much weaker. A reclaim of 1.3642, followed by acceptance above it, would be an important warning that the market may be transitioning back bullish. 📌 TradingView post version GBPUSD 2H — Structure Is Telling the Story Price formed a HH near 1.3670+, failed to continue higher, then created a lower high and broke the previous 1.3615–1.3620 swing low. That BOS shifts the short-term 2H structure bearish. Now I'm watching the retracement into the 1.3600–1.3620 supply/retest area. If sellers defend this zone, I want to see continuation toward 1.3560 → 1.3528. The key is not the entry itself — it's the structure and invalidation. Above 1.3620–1.3640, the bearish setup starts losing its edge. HH → LH → BOS → Retest → Continuation Let the market confirm the structure. Don't chase the move. 📉
