From the bullish CHOCH near 4,400, price accelerated through the Fibonacci recovery levels, broke the previous structure around 4,525 and continued climbing inside the rising channel. We are now trading around 4,615, well above the Ichimoku cloud. That tells me one thing: The trend is bullish, but the current price is not where I want to blindly buy. MY MAP FOR TODAY There are three prices on my chart: 4,635 → breakout trigger 4,563 → first decision level 4,450 → major downside magnet What happens around these levels will determine my next trade. IF GOLD KEEPS RUNNING If buyers push through 4,635 and an H1 candle closes above it, I will not enter immediately. I want price to come back and prove that the old resistance has become support. My execution: BUY: 4,625–4,635 SL: 4,598 TP1: 4,665 TP2: 4,690 No successful retest = no trade. IF GOLD PULLS BACK FIRST This is actually the setup I prefer. The 4,563–4,575 area is the first place where I expect buyers to defend the trend. If price reaches this zone, rejects it and produces a bullish H1 close back above 4,575: BUY: 4,570–4,578 SL: 4,545 TP1: 4,620 TP2: 4,650 TP3: 4,680 This gives me a much cleaner position than chasing Gold above 4,600. THE MOMENT I SWITCH BEARISH I am not interested in selling simply because Gold “looks expensive.” I need the chart to prove that buyers are losing control. An H1 close below 4,563, followed by a retest that fails to recover this level, changes the setup. Then my plan becomes: SELL: 4,555–4,563 SL: 4,585 TP1: 4,520 TP2: 4,480 TP3: 4,450 The 4,450 area is important because it represents the next major support shown on the chart and could attract buyers again. ONE SIMPLE RULE Above 4,563 → I look for longs. Below 4,563 + failed reclaim → I look for shorts toward 4,450. Until either confirmation appears, I would rather stay patient than force an entry around 4,615. Gold is bullish, but good trading is not about predicting every candle. It is about knowing exactly what you will do when price reaches your level. Which comes first: 4,680 or 4,563?
