For many visitors, spending time inside the individual pavilions is a major part of an EPCOT day.Dining plays an especially large role. Guests can grab quick-service meals, book table-service restaurants, or sample food from festival marketplaces throughout the year.That makes even relatively small updates worth watching. When Disney removes several established options at once, returning visitors may immediately notice the difference during a future trip.One World Showcase location has now done exactly that.Credit: DisneyFive Familiar Choices Are Officially GoneLe Cellier Steakhouse in EPCOT’s Canada pavilion has introduced a new menu, adding several dishes while permanently dropping five previous options.The restaurant removed the Land Greens Salad, Heritage Chicken, Roasted Cauliflower “Steak,” Seafood Cioppino, and the Boutique Collection dessert sampler.In their place, guests will find four notable additions.A new Caesar Salad ($16) includes romaine, Bibb, and frisee with radish, pine nut gremolata, and a plant-based Caesar dressing.Three new entrées have also arrived. The $41 Roasted Chicken comes with warm farro salad, baby squash, carrots, cranberry-orange gel, and sherry-chicken jus.The $39 Miso-roasted Cabbage features king mushrooms, chili crisp, maple, wild rice, leek oil, and mushroom gravy. While this work is much different from a restaurant menu refresh, it shows that changes continue around World Showcase in 2026.An even bigger project is eventually coming to the front of the park.At D23 this year, Disney announced that Spaceship Earth will receive a touch of “new magic.” Disney hasn’t announced a closure date, so guests still have time to experience the current version.When work does begin, Disney plans to update scenes and make changes to the attraction itself.Perhaps the biggest difference will involve its story. Spaceship Earth has long centered on the evolution of human communication. Disney plans to shift the attraction’s focus toward human connection with the upcoming update.Without an announced closure or reopening date, plenty of details remain unknown.
