PSG are asking for £125m for Barcola, having previously quoted £145m, and he wants to make the move to Anfield.A switch worth closer to £120m could be possible if the Reds decide to continue waiting for the France international.As well as Barcola, Liverpool are looking to sign Minteh too, but there now seems to be a deadline in place to decide whether they want to continue pursuing the 22-year-old forward.Liverpool’s Minteh deadlinetalkSPORT’s football correspondent Ben Jacobs explained: “With Minteh, Liverpool held talks over the weekend and they’re deciding today [Monday] whether they want to make a third bid.“If they go to £70million, it will be a done deal according to Brighton sources… my sense is Liverpool might consider £65million first.“But that was discussed over the weekend, and if Liverpool bid one more time, it will almost be a final bid, as they’ve got other options like Ibrahim Mbaye… PSG want £59.8million.”Mbaye has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Iraola’s side, with the winger and Barcola potentially joining in a double deal.Iraola wants to bring in multiple wingers in the final week of the transfer windowAFPWhat does this all mean for Cody Gakpo?If Liverpool do end up signing Barcola and one of Minteh and Mbaye, Cody Gakpo‘s future will then come into question.Gakpo started the Reds’ opening game of the Premier League season on Sunday, scoring their first goal in a 2-2 draw with Newcastle. He impressed for Iraola’s men, but his time at the club may well be limited, as he could fall behind two new signings. “My expectation is that it will be Barcola plus one,” Jacobs said. And if two come through the door, then Cody Gakpo to Spurs becomes a possibility.“If two wingers come in [they may let Gakpo go]. If it’s just Barcola, then Gakpo will stay.”talkSPORT understands that Tottenham have been eyeing a move for Gakpo during the summer window.Gakpo scored in Liverpool’s draw with Newcastle – but his future is up in the airAFPHowever, they are already on the brink of signing Savinho from Manchester City, as well as Omar Marmoush. Should they want to add another attacker to their set-up, then Gakpo could be next in line for an approach. And Liverpool are expected to demand £70m for the Dutchman, who they weren’t planning to sell at the start of August.But if Barcola and Minteh, or Mbaye, end up arriving at Anfield, then that stance could change and an exit may come.If just one of those join through, Gakpo is set to stay.
