Senorita Bonita (Starspangledbanner) has leapt to the top of Timeform's European two-year-old rankings following her impressive win in Sunday's G1 Prix Morny.Trained by Simon and Ed Crisford, Senorita Bonita was ultimately well on top at the finish at Deauville, showing a sparkling turn of foot to beat the long-time leader, Carry The Flag (No Nay Never) (104), by four lengths. In victory, the daughter of Starspangledbanner increased her Timeform master rating to 114 from 107p.Senorita Bonita's next assignment is likely to be the G1 Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket next month, where she could face two of her chief rivals in this division in Sun Goddess (Sioux Nation) (110p) and Libertango (No Nay Never) (107p).Timeform's Andrew Asquith said, “Senorita Bonita has some very solid form, finishing runner-up in a red-hot Queen Mary before beating subsequent Lowther winner Libertango at Newmarket, and she produced a devastating display against the boys in the Prix Morny at Deauville on Sunday.“She still had plenty to do over a furlong out, but displayed a frightening turn of foot to burst clear in the final 100 yards. Her new rating of 114 means she's now the highest-rated two-year-old in training and Senorita Bonita will be a leading contender in what is shaping up to be a vintage Cheveley Park Stakes if Libertango and Sun Goddess turn up too.”The post Senorita Bonita Tops Timeform’s Juvenile Rankings Following Morny Blitz appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
