Chart of the Week: Bitcoin—Has Bitcoin Found Its Long-Term Base?Bitcoin FuturesCME_DL:BTC1!The_STAIn this week's Chart of the Week, I'm looking at Bitcoin — I think it's showing a genuinely significant turn, and I want to talk you through the reasoning across the monthly, weekly, and daily charts. Monthly: The reversal has come right off the 61.8% retracement of the entire 2022–2025 rally. Price tested that level and recovered straight off it, underpinned by the 55-month moving average — that's the long-term base. Weekly: The MACD has turned positive and the market looks clearly based. There's resistance overhead from the May high (83,215) and the 55-week moving average (84,102), and both are likely to prove formidable near-term. But the longer-term picture is a base, and the direction is now up. Daily: The directional move becomes even more obvious here — the breadth of the up days has real strength behind it, which tells me the trading mentality now should be to buy the dips. Clear the resistance zone around 83,000–85,000 and the path opens up toward this year's high at 98,200, and from there, back toward 100,000.
