Resident Evil fans rejoice; we're going to get even more screentime with Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft's actors thanks to the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2026 which airs tomorrow, Wednesday August 26 at 10 am PDT/1 pm EDT/6 pm BST.Players can expect to see over 40 games, including 13 world premieres, exclusive reveals, and developer deep dives during the showcase. A couple of games I'm looking forward to seeing more of include Tides of Annihilation from Eclipse Glow Games,which we'll be getting a behind-the-scenes look at, and a closer peek at Onimusha: Way of the Sword from Capcom. But there's also some other breakouts which will be gracing our screens. This includes a new trailer for the viral comedy adventure game Trees Hate You, alongside a developer diary from Maverick Games for its new open-world action-driving game Clutch. So needless to say there's quite a bit to look forward to. It'll stream internationally on Twitch, YouTube, Steam, X, GamesRadar+, PCGamer, Gamespot, ESR Gaming Network. Fans in the UK will also be able to watch on Ginx TV, and Chinese viewers on Bilibili, KuaiShou, WeChat, Weibo, Huya, Douyin, Zhihu, and Poizon. There'll also be plenty of coverage and announcements concerning the showcase which you can follow via GamesRadar+, X, Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. FGS Live from Gamescom will follow on directly from the showcase and will be hosted by FGS channel presenters Nathan and Jules. This is set to bring even more premieres and exclusive content direct from the Koelnmesse convention centre, including Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and Nivalis Nights.
