Gold: 4H Repair Not Done – Watch for 2nd Wave of SellingGoldOANDA:XAUUSDhdbjebde83On the 4-hour chart, gold has rebounded after testing support near 4600, with some selling pressure relieved. However, indicators have not yet fully corrected, so the probability of a rally followed by a pullback remains high. Short-term longs should stay cautious. On the daily chart, the current pullback appears to be a normal correction within an uptrend. As long as key support levels hold, the bullish structure remains intact, and 4800 is not an unattainable target. There are important data releases tomorrow and the day after, which could have a significant impact on the market. If the data turns out to be bearish, it would accelerate gold's technical correction and provide a better entry opportunity for longs. In terms of trading strategy, I continue to favor selling above 4650 and buying in the 4500 area. For smaller ranges, watch for trading opportunities within 4580–4620 and 4560–4520. This week's key event is the Jackson Hole Symposium. If gold can complete its technical correction before then, the meeting could act as a catalyst for bullish momentum.
