According to sources, PM Modi repeatedly urged the new team of BJP president Nitin Nabin to be in touch with the people on the ground and understand their pulse. During the interaction, the PM spoke to each of the 65 new office-bearers about their journey in politics and the party. Nabin too, during his interaction with his new team members, advised them to strengthen their bond with the people on the ground, including the party cadre in the states where the party is in power, sources said. The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare organised a national conference on Digital Agriculture Mission and the Pulse Mission on Saturday. The conference, addressed by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, was attended by ministers from only four states — Haryana, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. While the absence of ministers from other states was noticeable, what was more striking was the fact that no minister from Uttar Pradesh attended the event. On past occasions, all three ministers responsible for agriculture in UP have participated in conferences organised by Chouhan's ministry. In fact, last year, UP Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Deputy Minister Baldev Singh Olakh and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Horticulture Dinesh Pratap Singh attended the National Agriculture Conference – Rabi Abhiyan 2025 on September 15-16.© The Indian Express Pvt Ltd Tags:Narendra ModiAdvertisementLoading Recommendations...AdvertisementLive BlogNEET PG Admit Card 2026 Live Updates: NBEMS will issue admit cards on August 259 hours agoCTET City Intimation Slip September 2026 Live Updates: CBSE likely to issue city-slip this week14 hours agoIndia vs Sri Lanka Live Score, 2nd Test Day 2: IND in command as SL end Day 2 at 8/215 hours agoSowcar Janaki (1931-2026): Vijay, Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR pay tribute to actor3 days agoIndia news 21 August Live Updates: Crane collapses in Mumbai’s Kurla, 10 injured4 days agoAdvertisement
