After several weeks of consolidation and volatility within the $58,000–$66,000 range, Bitcoin has finally managed to break out of this range and rally aggressively toward the key $80,000–$84,000 resistance zone. The price has now reached a very important technical area. In addition to the horizontal resistance, the descending trendline and the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement around $82,780 are also located within this zone, creating a strong confluence of resistance. At this point, there are two main scenarios: Bearish Scenario – Higher Probability: Considering the sharp rally from the $58,000–$66,000 range and the strong confluence of resistance around $80,000–$84,000, the bearish scenario currently appears to have a higher probability. A rejection from this zone could trigger a downside correction, particularly if Bitcoin fails to establish a daily close above the resistance. If a bearish structure forms and short-term support is lost, the price could initially move toward $65,000–$67,000, followed by the major $58,000–$60,000 support zone. Bullish Scenario: Despite the higher probability of a bearish reaction, the bullish scenario should not be ignored. If Bitcoin manages to break above the $80,000–$84,000 resistance zone with strong momentum and confirms the breakout with a daily close above it, the current bearish setup would be invalidated. In that case, the bullish momentum could continue toward the next major target around $98,000. For now, chasing the price at current levels does not offer an attractive risk/reward setup. I would prefer to wait for confirmation rather than trying to predict the next move. The key is to watch how Bitcoin reacts to the $80,000–$84,000 zone. A confirmed rejection and bearish structure could provide a short opportunity, while a strong breakout and daily close above the resistance could open the door toward $98,000.
