Gold's 4,640 volume shelf is already spent, and price is sittingGoldOANDA:XAUUSDkenkemdayfxXAUUSD - New York session read from my KenKem Master Volume Profile (MVP) indicator & strategy. CONTEXT Price gave back roughly 80 dollars from the Asian high into the London low, and is now grinding back up but stalling under the session VWAP and under all three fast-timeframe moving averages. Net volume is two-sided: mildly positive on the 15m window, clearly negative on the 5m, so the near term is the heavier side. The nodes directly overhead read as saturated, which means that shelf is thin rather than supportive. KEY ZONES - Resistance / supply: 4,648 (session VWAP), then 4,666 (master value area high, still being defended) - Support / demand: 4,630 (value area low), then 4,620 - Point of Control (volume magnet): 4,639 on the near profile, with heavier overhead volume up at 4,666 SCENARIOS (to watch - NOT signals) Bearish: lose 4,630 on a close, that opens 4,626 then 4,620 (the nodes above are saturated, so the shelf gives way easily). Bullish: reclaim 4,648 on a close, that opens room toward 4,651 then 4,666 (the same saturated nodes cut both ways on the way up). Range/unclear: stuck 4,630-4,648, stand aside until a decisive close; the fast moving averages are flat and overlapping. Invalidation: a 15m close beyond 4,620 voids this map. WHAT THE MVP TOOL IS SHOWING The Master Volume Profile plots rolling value areas (VAH/VAL), the Point of Control, and a net-volume pressure read to locate where volume is building or drying up. This idea is the qualitative output of that tool; the strategy's internal thresholds, gating and entry/exit logic are not disclosed. Built with the KenKem Master Volume Profile indicator & strategy.
