Nifty Analysis EOD – August 25, 2026 – TuesdayNifty 50 IndexNSE:NIFTYkzatakia🟢 Nifty Analysis EOD – August 25, 2026 – Tuesday 🔴 Rejection to Rally: Monthly Expiry Day Short-Covering Lifts Nifty Past 24,300 🗞 Nifty Summary The day started with excitement and curiosity — the first monthly expiry under the new CAS system. Nifty opened at 24,172.55, a 46.5-point gap down that was still above yesterday’s 3:15 closing. After the open, the index found a base at 24,128 and moved back up to test the 24,200 level, but couldn’t hold there, marking the day high at 24,198.25. Yesterday also saw rejection at this same level, and today it played out again — pushing Nifty back below the IBL and marking the day low at 24,115. After both support and resistance got tested, the rest of the session hovered within an 82-point range. Around 1:50 PM, a sharp 138-point short-covering rally off the IB low changed the picture of the day. The 3:15 close landed almost at the day high, at 24,260.05, and the CAS closed 75 points above that, at 24,334.55. Overall, the day was full of excitement and adventure — some puts traded at a discount, while the 24,300 CE jumped four rupees to ₹40. The daily candle formed an outside bar, or engulfing candlestick pattern, and the daily chart is also shaping into a Megaphone pattern — both hinting that the upcoming session could be very volatile. 🛡 5 Min Intraday Chart with Levels 📉 Daily Time Frame Chart with Intraday Levels 🕯 Daily Candle Breakdown Open: 24,175.75 High: 24,334.55 Low: 24,115.45 Close: 24,334.55 Change: +115.50 (+0.48%) 🏗️ Structure Breakdown Type: Strong Bullish — closed right at the day’s high, barely any resistance into the bell Range: ≈ 219 points — moderate volatility Body: ≈ 159 points — buyers stayed firmly in control through the session Upper Wick: ≈ 0 points — no rejection at the top, sellers just didn’t show up into the close Lower Wick: ≈ 60 points — the early dip got tested and absorbed quickly 🛡 5 Min Intraday Chart ⚔️ Gladiator Strategy Update ATR: 167.52 IB Range: 69.40 → Small Market Structure: Balanced Trade Highlights: 09:40 Short Trade: Target Hit (R:R 1:1.47) 10:43 Long Trade: Target Hit (R:R 1:1.96) 12:57 Long Trade: SL Hit 13:39 Long Trade: Target Hit (R:R 1:3.44) 15:07 HeroZero Long Trade: Target Hit (R:R 1:6.90) Trade Summary: Ended up regretting the early exit on that last trade — left a fair few points on the table there. The system did flag another Long trigger after 2:40 PM, but as a conservative trader I chose to sit that one out; Monthly Expiry days can turn volatile fast, and I wasn’t willing to risk what was already earned. Four out of five trades hit target today, so overall a solid, disciplined session even with that one SL in between. 🧱 Support & Resistance Levels Resistance Zones: 24,335 ~ 24,365 | 24,430 | 24,485 Support Zones: 24,230 | 24,190 | 24,135 | 24,085 🧠 Final Thoughts “Today felt like a treasure hunt — the map kept changing until the last hour.” Today felt like two different markets stitched into one candle. The morning chopped around in a tight band, rejecting 24,200 just like yesterday, and then that afternoon short-covering move flipped the whole mood by the close. If Nifty holds above 24,230 tomorrow, the 24,335 ~ 24,365 zone could open the door higher toward 24,430. A slip back below 24,190 might pull things down toward the 24,135 and 24,085 supports again. ✏️ Disclaimer This is my personal digital diary and represents my own analysis and point of view.
