Okay, I don't do horse things, but if anyone knows, I'd love to stack it up. What does livery, shoeing, dental work, and insurance cost? Plus associated costs like feed, fly masks, blankets, saddles, halters and leads, treats (carrots, sugar cubes? idk). Boat people and horse people tend to be pretty similar in my experience - wildly expensive hobby coupled with unrealistic expectations.
