Nursing student and was part of the nursing staff at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. She was from Najafgarh in South West Delhi.According to police, the preliminary enquiry indicated that she died by hanging in her hostel room in the campus. No suicide note has been recovered from the site, they said. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death.In a statement, the Ganga Ram Hospital authorities said that they are “deeply shocked” by the incident.“The hospital authorities are extending full cooperation to the investigating agencies, and all relevant facts, including the circumstances leading to the incident, are being examined,” said the statement.According to police, information regarding the death of the student was received at Police Station Rajinder Nagar from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on August 21.
