Dee's Biggest Weakness As A Big Brother Player, According To Kamu

Wait 5 sec.

Kamu Kirk had the perfect plan in place during Yash Patel's Head of Household week to send Dee Valladares packing, but as we know in Big Brother, the unexpected can always happen. He didn't know Rick Devens was gifted the Diamond Power of Veto, which not only saved Dee, but also put him on the block in her place. Now, out of the house, Kamu is speaking about his feud with Dee and how her messiness may keep her from winning Big Brother's grand prize. I had a chance to speak to Kamu for CinemaBlend and asked him about his interesting relationship with Dee throughout the entire game. They ran hot and cold from week to week, and when I asked what he thought her biggest weakness as a player in Big Brother was, he said this: I think that Dee just kind of lies for sport, man. I think she just kind of lies for the love of the game, and I could just see her putting herself in unnecessary, less-than-ideal situations because she wants to lie. You know, she lied about flipping the vote with Lyric, and I was happy to vote either way. So I felt like that was a little bit of an unnecessary lie where she kind of burned a bridge with me for no real reason.Dee lied to Kamu about the vote that ultimately led to Lyric Medeiros' eviction and effectively dismantled the Tool Shed alliance. Blowing up the game reset the game board and turned everyone, and Kamu declared himself a free agent apart from the Red Corner alliance. Those watching Big Brother online know this is where Dee and Kamu's relationship grew the strongest, but it was short-lived. It wasn't long before mistrust grew between them again, which he attributed to the lying: And then she apologizes to me and then tells me that she has the [time capsule] power to gain my trust back. At that point, I was totally cool with Dee again, right? I went from like totally trusting her to not trusting her to trusting her again...I just didn't understand the unnecessary lies, and so that's what I mean when I say she's messy.Lying is a part of Big Brother, and it's often necessary for people who want to win the game. That said, Kamu makes a valid point that Dee seemingly loves the manipulation involved in the game and gets a thrill out of flipping the house on its head and deceiving others. Ultimately, Kamu is out of the house, and Dee is still in. That said, he showed in his six weeks in Big Brother that he has a good understanding of the house and how to play the game. As such, I asked him if he thought Dee's lying would impact her when it comes to the jury in the eyes of the Season 28 cast. His answer was simple: I do think so. Like I said, she seems to [enjoy lying]. I'll have to go back and watch it because maybe it'll make more sense...I'm sure things will make more sense once I, once I go back and watch everything, but right now it appears that she lies again for no reason. And when you do that, you're going to just burn bridges with people, especially people who think that they can trust you.Trust is a big keyword as we head into Dee's first HOH. As of writing, she's already discussing a plan to put her new ally Mallory Aurichio up for eviction, which speaks to what Kamu told CinemaBlend. She doesn't have a ton of loyalty to anyone, it seems, but Rick Devens. And that may hurt her once others in the house get wise to it. It will be interesting to see how the Icons do once they're facing adversity in the game, assuming that ever happens. Right now, they could go the rest of this game skating until the end, but as they say in BB, expect the unexpected. Big Brother airs on CBS on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. ET. I'm eager to see how the rest of this week plays out, and who gets that final power!
