Uganda Police has confirmed the arrest of former Sky Pins Tours and Travel director Christian Asiimwe, popularly known as Don Chris, over allegations of obtaining money by false pretences and fraudulent labour recruitment.According to Police, Don Chris was arrested at approximately 2:00am on August 27, 2026, at a bar in Zana, Makindye-Ssabagabo Municipality, Wakiso District. He is currently detained at a Police station as investigations into the allegations continue.Police say Don Chris allegedly obtained money from several individuals between 2022 and 2025 by falsely claiming that he could secure them employment opportunities in countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, Qatar and Dubai, among others.The alleged job placements included positions such as waiters, cleaners and caregivers.
