Netflix (NFLX)Netflix, Inc.BATS:NFLXColmexProNetflix, Inc. is an American entertainment company that operates a paid streaming service and distributes films, series and original content worldwide. The company was founded in 1997 as a DVD rental business, launched its streaming service in 2007, and is headquartered in Los Gatos, California. (Wikipedia) NFLX stock is down approximately 15% since the start of 2026, despite the company continuing to show strong business performance. In the second quarter, revenue increased by 13% compared with the same period last year, reaching $12.6 billion, with an operating margin of 33.4%. Growth is being driven by a combination of subscriber growth, price increases and the expansion of the advertising business. The market is still assessing how far the advertising engine can develop into a meaningful revenue source, while competition for viewers’ time and investment in content remain high. On the other hand, Netflix continues to expand its offering through live programming, games and new content, while trying to maintain an advantage over other streaming services. From a technical perspective, the stock is trading around $80. It is above the 50-day exponential moving average, but remains below the 200-day simple moving average. Here too, the picture is mixed: there is an attempt at a short-term recovery, but the stock still needs to deal with the 200-day average in order to change the broader picture. Will Netflix be able to show that advertising, price increases and expansion into new content areas can return the stock to an upward path, or will competition and high expectations continue to weigh on it? Time will tell... Important Notice: Colmex Pro Ltd is licensed and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under license number 123/10.
