Despite completing over a week in theatres and facing competition from new releases, Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani-starrer Awarapan 2 continues its impressive run at the box office.According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Awarapan 2 collected Rs 8.25 crore net on Day 9, registering a 43.5% growth over its previous day’s collection of Rs 5.75 crore. Its overseas gross collection has reached Rs 28.80 crore, taking the film’s worldwide gross collection to Rs 180.91 crore.Awarapan 2 recorded an overall occupancy of 24.08% on its 2nd Saturday. The film registered 10.23% occupancy in the morning, which increased to 21.69% in the afternoon and 25.31% in the evening. The highest occupancy was recorded during the night shows at 33.85%. The Sunny Deol-starrer collected Rs 1.15 crore net across 3,247 shows on Day 9, taking its total India net collection to Rs 35.50 crore and India gross collection to Rs 42.12 crore. Overseas, the film earned Rs 0.75 crore on Day 9, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 9 crore.
