Revanth Reddy, alleging poor quality school uniforms given to children.In a statement, Mr. Harish Rao said that while talking about global standards in education on the one hand, the Revanth Reddy Government was unable to provide even quality uniforms to school students. The uniforms have not reached some schools so far, and where they were given, their sizes were not proper. Besides, they are getting discoloured even after a couple of washes, he claimed.‘Contract to Mafatlal’Against providing two pairs of uniforms to every student, not even one pair was given to all students in the schools where they were supplied. He alleged that the Chief Minister had more belief and affection for the middlemen from Gujarat than for the handloom weavers of Telangana, as the uniform contract was given to the Mafatlal company.He also alleged that the government had failed to clear the Aarogyasri dues and pay salaries to the health scheme staff. He stated that the government had not released the health scheme dues to government hospitals, and the staff working for the health schemes were not being paid salaries for the last 18 months.The BRS leader stated that the government hospitals in Siddipet district had not received funds since November 2023 and the total dues were at ₹24 crore.Published - August 23, 2026 07:33 pm ISTSign in to unlock member-only benefits!Access 10 free stories every monthSave stories to read laterAccess to comment on every storySign-up/manage your newsletter subscriptions with a single clickGet notified by email for early access to discounts & offers on our products${ ind + 1 } ${ device }Last active - ${ la }
