Screenshot: Salem News Channel HostCNN’s resident conservative Scott Jennings has emerged as the new prediction-market favorite to replace outgoing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.Prediction-market traders currently give Jennings roughly a 38% to 39% chance of becoming President Trump’s next press secretary, placing him well ahead of the other rumored contenders.According to the latest numbers from Kalshi, Jennings is leading the field with roughly 39-40% odds of becoming the next White House Press Secretary.White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly sits a distant second, around 13-16%, with other names like Natalie Harp, former Trump attorney Alina Habba (who publicly ruled herself out), and Trump’s nominee to serve as the next U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica, Kari Lake.Polymarket similarly placed Jennings at approximately 39% as of Sunday.Of course, prediction-market odds are not an official announcement, and the White House has not confirmed that Trump has made a final decision. The rapid movement came as President Trump publicly acknowledged Jennings as a possible replacement for Leavitt. While speaking with reporters Friday before departing for South Carolina, Trump was asked about the growing list of potential candidates. When a reporter mentioned Jennings, Trump responded:“Scott Jennings is good.”Trump also floated longtime White House communications adviser Margo Martin for the position.“Maybe Margo. What do you think of Margo? Maybe Margo. Let’s see,” Trump said. The president revealed that he has been inundated with people seeking the high-profile position.“I have never had so many job applications in my life,” Trump said. “They all want that job. They love that job.”WATCH: NOW: President Trump praises SCOTT JENNINGS when asked about the White House press secretary job“Scott Jennings is good. That one right there, my friend from Iowa. No formal offer had been extended at the time of the report. The Gateway Pundit also recently reported that Trump loyalists Alina Habba and Matthew Boyle had emerged as possible frontrunners.Habba later denied that she was seeking the job.“Flattered by the Kalshi odds, but I’m not in the running for any job,” Habba wrote on X. “However, if I’m getting a new one, I’d love for one of these anonymous sources to let me know first.”Leavitt, meanwhile, is not leaving Trump’s political movement. As The Gateway Pundit reported, she will remain in Washington and join Trump’s MAGA Inc. super PAC.The post CNN’s Scott Jennings Surges to Top of Prediction Markets as Favorite to Become Trump’s Next White House Press Secretary — Trump Says, “Scott Jennings Is Good” appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
