Used to be a DSP too who did overnight shifts. I probably would've been fine with a gig like this in college, because it is mostly sleeping, even if you have to wake up during the night. Children do usually sleep longer hours than adults so I would've used that time to study. Getting paid to mostly sleep through the night? Hey, fine by me, at least fifteen years ago. I mean I'm not saying this is a great gig or commenting on if overnight pay during client sleeping can be reduced from awake pay. But I also don't think this is nearly as bad - even if it's somewhat bad - as other posts in this community
