Clear Street has expanded its electronic execution offering beyond North America, adding access to 27 markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific through a single client connection. The launch extends the algorithmic execution capabilities Clear Street added through its 2024 acquisition of Fox River, which focused on US and Canadian equities and served buy-side and sell-side firms, including quant-driven funds. Clear Street said clients can now view trades and positions across the new markets in the same real-time ledger that powers its US business. The company did not say whether clearing or settlement arrangements are also standardised across the new markets. 27 New Markets and Nine Execution Strategies In EMEA, Clear Street now offers electronic execution across primary exchanges in 22 markets. The service also covers dark venues, systematic internalisers, periodic auction books and ETF liquidity through request-for-quote workflows. In Asia-Pacific, the firm is live across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore. South Korea and Taiwan are expected to follow in the coming months. Both regions support nine headline execution strategies and integrate with major execution and order management systems. Clients can also choose from more than 100 configurable execution parameters, with bespoke configurations deployed within 24 hours. The structure is intended to let clients access multiple regions through one connection rather than building separate execution arrangements for each market. Clear Street framed the launch as part of its broader plan to build a global platform for institutional execution.Smart Order Router Extends US Trading Hours The geographic expansion is paired with a 24-hour smart order router for US equities. Clear Street said the router gives clients overnight access from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Orders will route across Blue Ocean, Bruce, MOON and OTC Link N, with the system switching automatically to the best available price. Uri Cohen, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Clear Street, said the launch gives investors execution, smart order routing and a single view of positions across three regions. The two launches extend Clear Street’s electronic execution coverage by both geography and trading hours. EMEA and APAC add new regional markets, while the smart order router expands access to US equities overnight. This article was written by Tanya Chepkova at www.financemagnates.com.
