Sheffield Wednesday’s Harry Gray suffered a head injury on Tuesday night after a nasty fall during their clash with Wolves.Gray had to be treated by medical staff and was eventually substituted after appearing to hit his head on the floor.Gray suffered a nasty injury against Wolves in the Carabao Cup on TuesdayGettyThe 17-year-old forward, who is on loan at Hillsborough from Leeds, was reported to be responsive following the incident.He suffered the injury in the final five minutes of the Carabao Cup second-round match that Wolves won 2-0.Journalist for the Sheffield Star, Alex Miller, wrote on X: “Harry Gray has been taken off with a head injury. “[He] landed awkwardly and bashed his head on the floor, I think. “He seemed to be responsive and okay, but medics were absolutely right to take swift precautions.”In reaction, one Sheffield Wednesday fan posted: “The way he walked off did not look very good at all, hope he’s alright.”Another said: “He’s been promising…. hope the lad’s okay.”Owls manager Henrik Pedersen then revealed that there is a chance Gray’s injury could be a broken nose.
