A purported CAD render leak of the Galaxy S27 Ultra has caused some ripples in the echo chamber today. It's claimed that this render shows the design of the device's camera bar which looks remarkably similar to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. One assumption, as unlikely as it seems, that has also been drawn from this leak is that Samsung may offer the Galaxy S27 Ultra in two separate sizes. This would be very dilutive for Samsung's flagship lineupThis claim comes from @SonnyDickson who also shared some CAD renders on X. The shared renders appear to be in different sizes, thus leading to the assumption that the Galaxy S27 Ultra would be offered in two sizes. This seems like a very far-fetched assumption, at least in the absence of any solid evidence. There's nothing to confirm that these renders are even correct, let alone a representation of how the Galaxy S27 Ultra might shape up next year. Adding a second Ultra model, which based on this assumption would be differentiated on size only, would be incredibly dilutive for Samsung's flagship lineup. No substantial purpose can be served by adding yet another model to a lineup that already asks users to choose from three options. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is still a long way off in the distance, so there may be a lot of rumors and reports until early next year that have enough shock value but little substance. Take everything with a grain of salt until then. Here’s another look at the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra.
