In Punalur in Kerala’s Kollam district, Muhammad Faizal stepped in to rescue a dog that had been trapped in discarded road tar for three days. The helpless animal had spent days stuck by the roadside without food or water. When Faizal learned about its condition, he immediately rushed to the spot and worked to free it.A video of the rescue, which has gone viral on social media, shows Faizal reaching the spot and carefully pulling the dog out of the tar. But getting the animal free was only the beginning. A large portion of its body was covered in hardened tar, leaving it struggling to move.Faizal placed the dog on a platform and began removing the tar with the help of oil. As he worked, he also made sure the exhausted animal had food and water. Gradually, the dog was able to stand on its own feet. Faizal then gave it a thorough bath, carefully removing the remaining traces of tar, before taking it to a doctor for further treatment.By the end of the video, the transformation is striking. The dog is seen playing with other animals and interacting happily with Faizal. The hair it had lost during the rescue and treatment process also slowly begins to grow back.Watch the video: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Muhammed Faizal (@muhammed__faizal___) The rescue has touched many people online, with several social media users praising Faizal for stepping in to help an animal that had nowhere else to turn.“Such a heartwarming rescue.
