Star Wars just released a new look at a de-aged Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker during the New Republic era in a new Mandoverse series art. The Mandalorian Season 2 unexpectedly brought back Hamill's character in Episode 8, "The Rescue," where he effortlessly chopped down Moff Gideon's Dark Troopers with his green lightsaber. He later returned in The Book of Boba Fett, serving as Grogu's teacher. These Disney+ appearances marked the first time fans saw the Jedi Master in the New Republic era, a period set years after Return of the Jedi on the Star Wars timeline.The new de-aged look comes from the covers of Marvel Comics' Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett #6, a seven-issue series adapting the Disney+ show, written by Rodney Barnes with art by Will Sliney. Luke appears on the main edition as well as one of its variant covers.
