I had someone do this to me. It was a cheap table and chair set that he was already getting a good deal on from me and he was like $5 short. When I pointed it out he claimed he thought that was the amount (clearly lying) and offered to go an ATM to get the rest. I was annoyed and had a baby I needed to tend to. My husband had come down to help the guy load the stuff in his car so when I told him he shorted us we just let him sort out getting the stuff in his car on his own and I left him a bad rating. Now I just confirm the price one more time before meeting.
