The five-year-old C Pas Possible (Night Wish) (lot 77) took top billing during Tuesday's Goffs October HIT & Yearling Sale at Doncaster when selling to Marcus Collie, Dan Astbury and Mickey Bowen for £50,000.Formerly trained by Andrew Kinirons, C Pas Possible came into the sale having finished a close second at Navan last month when having just his third start over hurdles. Kinirons was also responsible for another of the top lots in the six-year-old Lips Freedom (Free Eagle) (lot 76), a former Listed winner on the Flat in Italy and currently rated 118 over hurdles. He was purchased by Kevin Jardine for £32,000.Elsewhere, Phillip Makin's Farabove The Limit (Far Above) (lot 34) came into the sale having won his last three starts on the track, with his most recent victory coming at Newcastle last week. He was knocked down to Syd Hosie Racing and David Brennan for £43,000.The sale opened with a session of 19 yearlings, with Yapham Manor Stud's Pinatubo filly (lot 5), a granddaughter of the classy sprinter Ladies Are Forever (Monsieur Bond), leading the way when she was bought by Bond Thoroughbred Limited for £24,000.Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent said, “The Doncaster October Sale exists to provide an early autumn outlet for yearlings and horses-in-training, and it continues to fulfil that role. In previous years, this sale has attracted numerous dispersals that help fuel a healthy turnover, and despite a smaller offering, we are happy with the results achieved.“As we always say, we are nothing without the horses, and we bemoan the lack of horses in today's sale as, when we are given the chance, we always deliver premium prices for the very best stock. Therefore, we will continue to work with vendors to offer a viable alternative to the market leader, whilst we look forward to returning to Doncaster in early December for the British NH Breeders Showcase.”Of the 66 lots offered, 38 sold (56%) for a total of £384,200 and at an average of £10,111. The median was £7,000.The post Unexposed Hurdler C Pas Possible Leads Goffs October HIT & Yearling Sale at £50k appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
