I can build almost any business system, but I can’t seem to get clients

Wait 5 sec.

I am an IT lady who can build fully customised business systems and web applications, automate processes, and turn business ideas into working software. I have built some pretty great systems for myself and at my previous workplace. The funny part? I’m good at building things, but terrible at getting people to pay me to build things for them. I’m not much of a social person, and networking doesn’t come naturally to me. Give me a business problem and I’ll probably start thinking of a system to solve it. Ask me how I’ll find someone to pay for that system, and suddenly I’m the one with a problem. Developers who successfully get clients, what’s your secret? How do you find businesses that need your skills, especially if you’re not the outgoing, networking type? I’m tired of building great things that nobody pays me for. submitted by /u/Ornery_Ad2397 [link] [comments]
