GBPUSD — Cable reclaims both EMAs in a Golden CrossBRITISH POUND / U.S. DOLLARFX_IDC:GBPUSDgisabdib The pound is at 1.3402, having recovered roughly 250 pips from the October low near 1.3150 and pushed back above both moving averages for the first time since the September breakdown. The structure is a crossover in progress. The 50 EMA at 1.3330 has just reclaimed the 200 EMA at 1.3332 — the two are now sitting on top of each other, and price is trading above both. That configuration appeared twice before on this chart, in April and again in July, and on both occasions it preceded a move toward the upper horizontal levels. The range context matters here. Cable has spent all year between roughly 1.3150 and 1.3670, with three horizontal levels structuring the upper half: 1.3660, 1.3597 and 1.3540. The pair is in the middle of that band now, with room in either direction and no immediate barrier overhead until 1.3540. RSI at 60.68 sits below its signal line at 64.07, cooling slightly from the push but holding above the midpoint. The move has paused, not reversed. Levels: - Resistance: 1.3540 is the first horizontal, roughly 140 pips above price. Above it, 1.3597 and then the 1.3660 ceiling that has capped the pair all year. - Support: 1.3330–1.3332, where both EMAs now sit stacked. That is the level that validates or breaks the recovery. Beneath it, 1.3250 and then the 1.3150 low. A bounce off the yearly floor, a bullish crossover forming, and price above both averages — the recovery has structure behind it. What it doesn’t have yet is a higher high: 1.3540 is where that gets tested.
