So I had a problem, I go to the store after work, and I never really know what we have at home. Milk, eggs, rice, pasta, coffee, also trash bags, paper towels and so on. My wife is at work too, so I can't ask her. So I either buy it and we already had it, or I don't buy it and next morning there's no coffee :) Tried apps, manual entry I quit fast, barcode scanners don't work for me, a lot of our food comes from grandparents or farms. Photo AI doesn't see what's hiding in the back of the fridge. So I made my own. You just say everything in one sentence when you come home from the store, LLM parses the ramble into items, sorts it. At the store you ask "do we have milk?" and it answers. When something is finished you say "used all milk" or "2 eggs left", it goes to Ran out and asks if you want it on the shopping list. Works for the whole household. It's on Android now, iOS soon. Honest question, would you keep updating it after 2 weeks? That's what kills every app like this, and I want to know before I go further. Roast it. submitted by /u/ExalteD20 [link] [comments]
