A new video has drawn attention to U.S. President Donald Trump’s health after showing him moving awkwardly toward a helicopter outside the White House. The 80-year-old president was recorded walking unsteadily toward the helicopter and tapping his leg on the South Lawn. According to the Irish Star, Trump appeared to walk unevenly while repeatedly touching his right thigh. He briefly stood with his legs spread apart before leaning forward as he approached the helicopter. The footage quickly sparked debate among critics who questioned Trump’s mobility. Some suggested he might have difficulty walking on his own, while others speculated he could be wearing supportive equipment under his clothing. David Pakman, a vocal critic of Trump, said the president appears “completely gone” and noted speculation that Trump might be “wearing leg braces of some kind.” Pakman said: “Donald Trump is increasingly looking like a man who can no longer walk from one place to another. And there is a new video that I want you to see. Because at this point, the strange walking and the wandering and the repeated tapping of his right thigh, it is a pattern so recurring that we must scrutinize it.” Not the first time Trump’s health has been questioned At the helipad, Trump assumed a wide-legged stance, waved to someone in the distance, then stood awkwardly and appeared to lean forward. “You will see Trump unable to trace a straight line, Trump tapping that right thigh endlessly and also struggling again. There’s suspicion that he’s wearing leg braces of some kind. Look at this,” Pakman said. “It’s like what? What exactly do his legs do right there? That is really strange, guys. Really, really strange”, David added. #DonaldTrump can't walk a straight line. Someday he gonna fall on that grass. The video does not confirm that Trump uses leg braces or has any condition affecting his ability to walk. Additionally, the White House has not addressed the claims. Recently, Mike Lindell, a staunch Trump supporter, expressed concern about the president’s well-being, suggesting that Trump may be wearing himself out with nightly rallies aimed at boosting Republicans’ chances in the upcoming midterm elections. “He looked about as tired as I’ve seen him. He was very…I don’t want to say the word ‘down’…him and I, we don’t get down,” Lindell told independent journalist Aaron Rupar in a recording of their call posted on X. “But he’s got to realize he’s on these rallies. I mean, just one after another after another.” Lindell later denied his comments on Trump’s tiredness, calling them “fake news.” “Here’s a REAL quote for everyone: President Trump works TIRELESSLY everyday to SAVE OUR COUNTRY. Nobody I know could keep up with his schedule and stay as optimistic as he is everyday,” Lindell wrote on X Tuesday. This isn’t the first time Trump’s health has come under scrutiny in his second term. This includes appearing to doze off during public events and being photographed with bruised hands and swollen ankles. But the White House and his doctor insist that Trump is in great shape. In a summary of Trump’s May medical exam, the president’s doctor, Sean Barbabella, wrote that the president’s “cognitive and physical performance are excellent” and that he’s “fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.”
