Like, I think somebody asked me, ‘Can we kick a field goal?’ “So, now we were going for it. We knew we had to go for some fourth downs to be bold in the game.” I didn’t think it was gonna be a 17-14 game. I probably thought it was gonna need 28, 30 to score, you know, to go win it. “So it was by design that we were gonna go, but I knew what happened. I think, I probably was just commenting that I remember.“On the headset, somebody asked me, after an illegal shift, like it was turnover on downs, and [quarterback] Jayden [Daniels] saw the foul, too. He also came out and saw the penalty.”Quinn insisted that he knew it was fourth down when speaking in his post-game conferenceGettyThe loss dropped the Commanders to 1-4-1 on the seasonGettyView Tweet: https://x.com/hashtag/COMMANDERS?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5EtfwQuinn concerned about Terry McLaurin injuryBefore Quinn’s apparent blunder, the Commanders suffered a huge blow in the first quarter when Terry McLaurin went down.McLaurin was running a pass route to the sideline late in the first quarter, covered by Deommodore Lenoir, when he went down under minimal contact and grabbed at his knee.He was fitted with an air cast and carted off the field.
