From January 2027, the Periodic Labour Force Survey will include unpaid household activities and digital platform workers. New questions will identify individuals engaged in caregiving and relevant unpaid volunteer work in both urban and rural settings. This expansion aims to enhance the measurement of labour-market data. The survey will enable better reporting and data collection on these aspects annually.
