LinkedIn ghosted me after the final round, so I'm building a competitor out of spite

Wait 5 sec.

In September I made it to the final round for a software engineering internship at LinkedIn. Five rounds. A take-home that ate my entire weekend. The recruiter said they'd have an answer for me by the end of the week. I kept an eye on my inbox for 3 weeks. Nothing. I followed up twice. Nothing. Soon after, the same posting was back up. The company whose entire business is getting people hired couldn't send me one email. LinkedIn can go fuck itself. I started building a better job search, mostly out of spite. I have never been this productive in my life. It's called Pinloop. It pulls jobs straight from companies' own career sites, so there are no reposted ghost listings and no promoted junk with 4,000 applicants. You tell it what you want in plain words, and it reads every new posting against your resume and tells you which ones are actually worth your time. If you want, it fills out the application on the company's real site for you and you can watch it click around; not some Easy Apply garbage. 1700 people have signed up so far and 70 are paying. That's 70 people not paying for LinkedIn Premium 😏 It's at pinloop.ai if you want to check it out. And if anyone at LinkedIn is reading this, I'm still waiting on that email. submitted by /u/parfumparrot [link] [comments]
