It’s a bit of a different challenge, so I thought I’d have a go at this.“I got through and they give you a challenge to finish 501 in 24 darts or less, which I did, and I went through.“Once you go through, you just then sit there waiting for the producers to interview you.“I averaged enough to get through and then they interviewed me – we had a little chat and nine out of the ten people I was in the room with were told to go.“But I did bump into Fallon Sherrock and had a chat with her, and I think she said [former PDC chairman] Barry Hearn said the same thing to her: ‘What are you doing here?’“And as she hasn’t got a tour card, she can compete. I’m sure she mentioned the tour card.“It was nice meeting Fallon Sherrock, but for her to go through and lots of pub players not to… is a bit bitter considering I did the challenge and I scored enough to go through.”Sherrock is among the challengers to Littler, along with WDF world youth champion Mitchell LawrieShutterstockWhen is Beat Luke Littler on?Sherrock is one of 24 contenders who will attempt to beat Littler over one leg.Beat Luke Littler will air on Netflix next Friday (October 30).The show is being presented by former Match of the Day host Gary Lineker. In the meantime, Littler is competing at the European Championship in Dortmund, Germany.‘The Nuke’ will be aiming to win the tournament for the first time. But another major hitter in the world of darts will miss the tournament: world number two Luke Humphries had to withdraw due to illness.
