Hey everyone! I’m thinking about building a recipe journal app, and I’d love to understand how people currently save and organize their recipes before deciding what to build. I’m interested in both recipes you find online and your own creations—including recipes you’ve tweaked over time. A few things I’m curious about: How do you keep track of recipes today? A notebook, screenshots, bookmarks, a notes app, a dedicated recipe app, or something else? Do you record changes after cooking? Things like ingredient substitutions, adjusted quantities, or what you’d do differently next time. If so, where do those notes go? What’s the biggest frustration with your current setup? And is there anything it does really well that you wouldn’t want to lose? You don’t have to answer everything—even one example of a time you couldn’t find a recipe or forgot a change you’d made would be helpful. This is still an early idea, so I’m here to listen and learn. “My notebook already does everything I need” is useful feedback too!
