I made a free Fusion add-in to keep matching CAD and STL revisions

Wait 5 sec.

I made ZenExport for my Fusion-to-3D-printing workflow, and I'm sharing it free under the MIT license as a gift to other makers. The problem I wanted to solve was repeating the F3D, STEP and individual-part STL exports after each design change, then remembering which files belonged together. Each export creates matching folders, for example: CAD/v05_M6 holes/ — F3D and STEP Models/v05_M6 holes/ — visible native-body STLs _Info/v05_M6 holes/ — preview and export results It remembers each design's destination and asks for an optional description when creating a new numbered revision. The latest refactor adds staged file writes, partial-failure reporting and migration of older folder layouts. I used AI assistance for the refactor and tests. Version 6.1.1 is a preview: 63 automated tests pass locally, but full recovery checks by reopening the exported F3D/STEP files are still pending. Start with a disposable design and keep your usual backups. Local export does not perform Fusion's native/cloud save or change Autodesk's licensing limits. STLs are individual parts in component coordinates.
