I'm the creator of ZenExport, a Python add-in for Autodesk Fusion that I'm sharing free under the MIT license. It creates matching named revision folders for F3D/STEP CAD files and individual visible-body STL files, with previews and export reports kept separately. The 6.1.1 refactor includes staged file writes, legacy project-folder recovery and resumable layout migration. The runtime uses the standard library plus Fusion's API; CI passes 63 tests on Windows with Python 3.10 and 3.13. I used AI assistance for the refactor and tests. This is a preview: full exported-file recovery validation is still pending. Use a disposable design first. Local export does not perform Fusion's native/cloud save; STLs use native component coordinates. The README covers installation and the remaining limitations. A small gift from me to the CAD and 3D-printing community. submitted by /u/kaloudis94 to r/coolgithubprojects [link] [comments]
