A free Fusion add-in I made to keep CAD and STL revisions matched

Wait 5 sec.

If you're learning to design your own prints in Autodesk Fusion, keeping only the STL makes later edits awkward. I made ZenExport to export the editable CAD and printable parts into matching numbered folders, and I'm sharing it free under the MIT license. For a revision called v05_M6 holes, it creates: CAD/v05_M6 holes/ — the Fusion F3D archive and a STEP copy Models/v05_M6 holes/ — individual visible-body STLs for slicing _Info/v05_M6 holes/ — a preview and export results The destination is remembered, older exports are retained, and you can describe each new revision when saving. To try it: download the ZIP, extract it, copy ZenExport.bundle/Contents into a folder named ZenExport, then add that folder in Fusion's Scripts and Add-Ins dialog. Start with a disposable design. The current 6.1.1 is a preview. Automated checks pass 63 tests on Windows/Python 3.10 and 3.13, but full recovery validation by reopening exported files is still pending. Keep your usual backups. This exports local files, not a native/cloud save; STLs use native component coordinates. I used AI assistance for the refactor and tests.
