Hey Friends! I've been working on a macOS app inspired by Raycast that focuses on fixing some of the biggest frustrations that come with using a variety of AI models at once. I recently graduated from college with a degree in Computer Science, and I've spent a lot of time using various AI models like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and others. Over time, what I've noticed is that the experience of using several of them together can get frustrating. I'm constantly switching between tabs, trying to find old conversations, copying context from one model to another, or repeating things I've already explained in a different chat. So I started building a macOS app inspired by Raycast, but focused specifically on solving these everyday AI frustrations. Some of the things I'm working on: Search across AI chats: Find conversations across different models, including searching through the actual content rather than just titles. Bring context between models: Pull information from previous conversations into a new chat, even when switching between different AI models. Compare AI responses: Send the same prompt to multiple models and compare their answers. Quick access to AI models: Easily open, switch between, and interact with different AI models from one place. Would you actually find something like this useful? And if you could fix one annoying thing about your current AI workflow, what would it be and do you have any requests for me to add? Below are some small examples of how my panel looks while displaying some of the features. I'd appreciate any feedback and please consider leaving any bit of feedback as it would help me tremendously during this journey. https://reddit.com/link/1xduvah/video/bcx89otp8bxh1/player Attach a GPT conversation into Claude as Context submitted by /u/Academic-Instance687 [link] [comments]
